Services - Counselling
At Roshni we believe in offering intensive personal support that will function in a variety of ways.
From the moment you fist contact Roshni or are assigned from another agency you will be assigned a keyworker. From that point on your keyworker will act as your personal point of contact and will provide you with regular one-to-one counselling sessions.
Counselling is offered to for all of our service users so that they can talk about their feelings and how their experience has affected them, as we understand that domestic violence affects all of our service users in different ways.
This service helps women to move on from the trauma that they have undergone and get their life back together.
Your keyworker will also be able to offer you assistance in a range of areas including Housing, Legal Rights, Welfare Rights, Children and Contact Issues, Education, Training and Health matters.
We also offer fortnightly service users meetings; these give you the chance to talk with other women who have undergone similar problems and enhance the sense of community. You also have the opportunity to discuss any issues relating to your stay at Roshni
