Services - Children's Worker
Roshni's Play And Learn Project have a specialist children's worker who offers support & regular play sessions to the children at Roshni. Our colourful & vibrant playroom is packed with lots of toys & games for the children to play with including DVD' s, Playstations, computers and arts and craft equipment. Play therapy sessions are held on regular basis, as well as storybook readings. In the summer the children get to take part in a variety of outdoor activities. Monthly outings & trips will also be arranged, where both mother & children are encouraged to participate.
In an emergency if a mother has to attend court proceedings then the children's worker can look after the children at Roshni. They will also hold play activities with the children if the mother is preparing a meal or visiting the councillor.
