Training/Workshops 

Alongside supporting victims, all our staff are specially trained to provide training to other professionals. We also deliver workshops in schools and the local community.  Our modules include Safeguarding Children from Domestic Abuse, Safeguarding Adults from Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage & Honour Based Abuse Training. Please email us to register your interest in workshops or training courses. admin@roshnibirmingham.org.uk

Campaigns 

Our campaigns aim to raise awareness of domestic abuse and prevent it from happening. We strongly believe that the society has a role to play and we actively encourage and inspire initiatives to end domestic abuse.  We ensure the needs of those experiencing a wide range of abuse are represented at the highest possible level.

Police launch new 24-hour helpline for victims of forced marriage and honour based abuse

31st  January 2020

A 24-hour helpline has been launched for victims suffering forced marriage and honour
based abuse.

The free phone line will be accessible at all hours of the day seven days a week, thanks to the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner.

New West Midlands Helpline For Forced Marriage Victims

13th June 2019

The West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner will launch a new helpline to support
victims of forced marriage and honour based abuse across the region.

David Jamieson has provided £47,200 to fund the project, which will offer confidential advice to victims and survivors 24 hours a day.
